A notable feature of this year's placement drive is that several students have secured employment opportunities even before completing their final year of study.
Around 90 Students Receive Job Offers
The campus placement process at IET-DAVV began in July, with companies visiting the institute to recruit students from various engineering disciplines. So far, approximately 8–9 companies have participated in the recruitment process and selected students based on their technical knowledge, programming skills, subject understanding and problem-solving abilities.
More than 30 students from Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology, around 22 students from Mechanical Engineering, 15 from Electronics, 6 from Civil Engineering, and students from other disciplines have secured placements so far.
Highest Package Reaches ₹34 Lakh Per Annum
The placement results have highlighted the strong technical capabilities of IET-DAVV students. Most of the selected students have received packages in the range of ₹13–14 lakh per annum.
In a particularly notable achievement, two IET-DAVV students have received high-value offers of ₹27 lakh and ₹34 lakh per annum, respectively. These offers reflect the growing demand for the institute's technically skilled students and their ability to meet industry expectations.
Strong Performance by Students Across Engineering Disciplines
The placement drive has witnessed participation from students across multiple engineering branches, with Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Civil Engineering students making significant contributions to the placement numbers.
The diversity of selections highlights the broad-based technical education and industry-oriented preparation provided at IET-DAVV. Students are being evaluated on their technical knowledge, programming proficiency, conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities.
Industry-Oriented Training and Preparation
Companies participating in the recruitment process are assessing students through multiple stages, including written assessments, technical interviews and HR rounds. The selection process focuses on identifying students who possess both strong technical fundamentals and the ability to apply their knowledge to practical problems.
The IET-DAVV Placement Cell is undertaking various training and preparatory activities to help students understand industry requirements and perform effectively in campus recruitment processes. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing students' employability and preparing them for the expectations of the corporate sector.
Placement Activities to Continue in the Coming Months
